Rayfront 1.0.4 Update
The Rayfront 1.0.4 service upgrade is available for free
download
to all current and future users. This update brings a
number of bug fixes and documentation enhancements.
The changes of the previous update 1.0.3 are included.
Web site redesign
With immediate effect, all of
www.schorsch.com
is available in a new design. The new layout is more compact
and offers better access to the global navigation elements.
We have coded the new site according to the XHTML standard.
XHTML allows us provide the same information with less
and simpler code, resulting in faster response times for you, and
easier maintenance for us.
On top of that, there's now a printable version available for
all static pages, and we have added
features for providing feedback to us, and for sending individual
pages to your friends to check them out.
Happy surfing!
Raydirect, Plug-In for Daylight Redirection Systems
Raydirect enables
Rayfront to simulate profile
based daylight redirection systems with the click of a button.
The software is based on mktis from
exergia.
3Dsolar, the Intelligent Building Modeller
3Dsolar is a building modelling
software especially designed to create the input data for
lighting simulations. It helps you create a
parametric building model very quickly in the design
phase, so that the impact of lighting can be optimized before
any final design commitments have been made. Models are strictly
hierarchical, so that changes on any level will propagate
immediately through the complete building.
3Dsolar is the perfect counterpart for
Rayfront,
offering the same flexibility for the creation of the
geometry used in your lighting simulation.
Rayfront 1.0.3 Update
The Rayfront 1.0.3 service upgrade is available for free
download
to all current and future users. This update brings a
number of bug fixes and documentation enhancements.
The changes of the previous update 1.0.2 are included.
Rayfront 1.0.2 Update
The Rayfront 1.0.2 service upgrade is available for free
download
to all current and future users. This update brings a
number of bug fixes and documentation enhancements.
The changes of the previous update 1.0.1 are included.
Rayfront Demo Version
With effect immediately, there is a demo version of
Rayfront for Windows available for
download.
The demo version offers exactly the same functionality as the real
thing, with two exceptions: You can't distribute simulations across
your local network, and the activation key will only be valid for a
limited time.
CAT Bau 2001
We have entered a collaboration with
ALware,
a german software company developing 3Dsolar,
a geometry modeller for Radiance.
Part of this collaboration will be a participation at
CAT Bau 2001
in Stuttgart, Germany.
CAT Bau is a trade fair concerned with computer
technology for the construction industry, taking place
from June 19th to June 22nd 2001.
You will find us in hall 5.1, booth 32.
Please contact us if you need tickets for CAT Bau.
We expect to have a limited number we can give away, though
we may have to draw straws should there be too many requests.
Lighting Wiki Online!
With effect immediately, the Lighting Wiki is online.
A Wiki (more exactly: a WikiWikiWeb) is a collaborative
online environment, where every visitor can view,
modify, and add to the content of the site.
The site
http://lightingwiki.com/
is an experiment to see what happens when all the
lighting proffessionals online share their thoughts
with each other. Please have a look, try it out,
and, most importantly, have fun!
Rayfront for IntelliCAD 2000!
With the service upgrade to Rayfront 1.0.1,
the lighting design toolkit now also directly
supports IntelliCAD 2000.
IntelliCAD is a CAD software for Windows that is
developed with the goal of close compatibility with
AutoCAD, at a very affordable price. The program
is maintained by the
The Intellicad Consortium,
where you will find links to consortium members, who also
sell the program.
The Rayfront 1.0.1 service upgrade is available for free
download
to all current and future users.
