Autocad Tools

tube.lsp

Extrude any profile along any path. Special mode for extruding relative to a fixed vertical axis. Requires two polylines as profile and path.

spacelin

Generate auxiliary construction lines on the plane and in space. A similar concept to xlines and rays, just much more complete and useful as you can create lines in relative position to any straight edge in your drawing. Available for several platforms and releases.

pltin

Not really related to 3d-modelling or lighting simulation, but anyway: A relatively simple utility to import HPGL type 1 text format plot files back into autocad.

cyl.lsp

Draw cylinders (circles with thickness) at arbitrary locations in space. You specify a sequence of points, and this simple program places the cylinders automatically, in any UCS.

torad.lsp

The good old and worthy lisp based geometry translator from autocad to radiance. Still works fine with all versions of autocad on all platforms, as long as you don't use any of the new fancy entity types like acis solids etc.

radout

Radout is a very close reimplementation of torad, but it is written in ADS-C, and therefore a lot faster. Note that the free version ignores ACIS solids, which are only supported in our commercial products.

topol.lsp

A spin off from torad.lsp. Export geometry data from Autocad to the CLRview and Polytrim interactive 3D GIS & CAD integration and visualization tools.

Please note that this lisp utility (pronounced "toPol") has no connection to the company with the very similar name of TopoL Software.
