Munich "Bierseidel" Go Tournament

Results

This year, we were surprised by more registrations than ever before in the history of the "Bierseidel", and could finally greet a full eighty participants. Part of this success was due to the DGOB meeting in Munich at the same time, but we're also happy to see a growing number of young players enjoying the game of Go in Bavaria.

Within the strong group of top players, it eventually became obvious that two individuals would be battling for the first place. In the end, the local Norbert Jendrusch saved his lead in front of Martin Li, a guest from Sweden, by half an opponents' scores point. The third place went to Thomas Kettenring, also a local player.

	Of course, everybody knows the real reasons for a successful tournament... In the center the chief organizer Hans Schnabel.
