Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum by Frank Lloid Wright

Frank Lloid Wright hated big cities. That's why he designed his most famous building as if the city wasn't there, and Central Park was a lonely forest. From inside, it makes the visitor feel protected in the nautilus shell of its spiral ramp.
