Salt marshes between Georgia and Florida.

Large parts of the southern east coast consists of water and trees and little else. Here I found a spot with less trees, so that you can actually see a significant amount of water. Most of those marshlands are probably inaccessible to the average tourists, and those taking the interstate will see nothing at all.

I noticed something funny when travelling here. In most of america, driving a few miles above the speed limit will keep you in sync with the general traffic flow. In Georgia, I repeatedly found myself driving closely behind another car, until I realized what's different. People seem to be so relaxed around those parts, that they are happy to cruise 5 miles below the limit on their own will. Very cool!
