Manatee Springs State Park.

This short run of a creek really is the outlet of a spring. In the back of this view, a hole in the ground produces vast amounts of crystal clear water, which flows into the Suwannee River seen ahead. Don't get fooled by the quiet surface, there's a significant current below. The hole is one entrance to an extended underwater cave system, which appears to be open to divers.

Other than promised on the warning posters, I didn't get to see any Manatees or Alligators. I guess I was there in the wrong season. But there was lots of other wildlife around, and the serenety of the surrounding nature is worth the visit either way.
