What does the average European expect to see in Texas? Cowboys, desert plains, and oil fields. Funny surprise then on entering the state, and seeing almost more wooded swamplands than previously on the east coast. Now the state is really big, so there's room for many different things. I got to see enough dry land over the next few days to make up for that.
