We have a winner!

Nov. 23. 1999

Our web space hosting provider is moving. All their systems will be taken down and relocated to their new offices on Monday, Dec. 06. 1999 during east coast working hours. This will result in an interruption of our services for a few hours. Pair Networks Inc. have set up an move information site where more details can be found. We apologize for any inconveniences this event may cause to our visitors.

Oct. 29. 1999

The closing date for our Name Finding Contest has been set to Nov. 30. 1999.
Creative minds, hurry up!

Oct. 29. 1999

Starting with new year, schorsch.com will be offering lighting design related services. This may include:

  • Lighting consultancy, especially in daylighting
  • Teaching on lighting, daylighting and simulations
  • Lighting simulation services
Those activities are not meant to compete against our customers who buy and use our software. We rather plan to help you in all the ways we can, eg. in the following situations:
  • If you have a special problem that can't easily be solved with the version of our software you have bought.
  • If you don't have the resources to do all the simulations in a project yourself.
  • If you want to train your staff on all the tricks and possibilities built into our software.
  • If you represent an educational institution and want your students to work with our software.
  • Many more...

In any of those situations, contact us, and we will engage all our know-how and experience in finding a solution to your problem.

Sept. 19. 1999

Further delays expected
Our final software release date is postponed again (*sigh*) to early in 2000. This happens for several internal and external reasons.
The maintainers of Radiance are working very hard on the port to WindowsNT. Given the differences between the unix and Windows environments for programming purposes, completion of this work will still last about until the end of the year. While this keeps us from delivering our own product earlier, it also gives us the opportunity to make it even better and more powerful than we could if we had to finish it now. We sincerely hope that it will be worth the wait for you!
