System Specification
Simulation NotesThe mirror polish is sometimes only applied to the upper surfaces, the backside gets a diffuse coating. Raydirect assumes mirror polish on both sides, and may therefore predict higher luminances than observed in reality when looking at the window from a lower point of view from the inside. The manufacturer uses an additional type classification for the orientation of the profiles in the panel, counting clockwise when looking from the outside. Type I is oriented so that the profiles are horizontal and the shades against the upper sky (clear view down from the inside). Type II is rotated 90 degrees, type III 180 degrees, and type IV 270 degrees. Since Raydirect specifies the orientation angles looking from the inside, you'll have to use the reverse rotational angles, which results in 0 degrees for type I, 270 for type II 180 for type III, and 90 for type IV.
