Mist Material Type
Mist
It is not possible to create or edit the mist material type
with this release of Rayfront. The mist material
needs to reference the IDs of specific light sources
at surface level for efficiency. Unfortunately, such
references are very difficult to handle within the
Rayfront project structure.
Mist material definitions in a project are read and
written like any other material, but never modified
through the user interface. If you can't do without
the mist material, then there will be no other way than
to edit the material file of your project in a text
editor, and make the necessary changes there.
Rayfront will preserve your edits, and offer
the material definition for assignment to geometry
objects after you created it.
